Taiyuan City's West Mountain-Fenhe Cycling Outdoor Sports Destination was recently named one of China's first high-quality outdoor sports zones. The Fenhe cycling route runs 85 kilometers along both banks of the river, drawing over 500,000 rides a year. The West Mountain loop stretches more than 200 kilometers, connects 68 cultural sites and 17 suburban forest parks, and radiates out to more than 100 attractions.
